A/N: For princess_mir it’s not quite what she wanted but I hope she likes it anyway. It’s my first Glee fic.

Puck was not sure what was wrong with him. All week, every time Kurt so much as looked at him, Puck turned into a stumbling, bumbling moron. Puck could not figure out what was going on and it was beginning to worry him. Yesterday, it had been so bad that when Kurt came up to talk to him, all Puck could say was fluffernutter, and then spent forty minutes on the subject, unable to make himself shut up.

And for reasons completely beyond Puck’s understanding, Puck made fluffernutter sandwiches for himself and Kurt and then practically forced the boy to eat one.

They were currently trapped in the mother of all awkward silences. Kurt was carefully munching away on his sandwich while Puck was trying to pay attention to his own sandwich and not stare at Kurt. There was a bit of peanut butter on the corner of Kurt’s mouth and Puck could not stop staring at it. Puck wasn’t entirely sure what he wanted to do about it but he wanted to do something. Kurt squirmed under the scrutiny.

Unable to take it anymore, Puck lunged at Kurt and licked away the peanut butter. Once Puck realized what he had done, he jumped back and exited the room, leaving a confused Kurt behind.

Puck could not figure out what was wrong with him, but he hoped he figured it out soon.
